Welcome to TEACH!
TEACH is an electronic center for the transmission and exchange of ideas and tools for the teaching of world languages and cultures. It is not intended as a mere database of pedagogical materials on second language acquisition, but rather as a dynamic multilingual, multicultural community of learningi and practice serving the needs and interests of all, from novice instructors to experienced program directors.
TEACH encompasses theoretical perspectives as well as practical applications, with opportunities for discussion, expansion and self-study in all areas of concern to language teachers, regardless of level of instruction or professional experience. It is our hope that TEACH will become a forum where experienced teachers can fine-tune their craft, an invaluable tool for teacher-training programs, and a source of information and support where such programs are not in place. TEACH aims to encourage more efficient collaboration among practitioners across languages and institutional boundaries.
All materials submitted to TEACH are covered by copyright law. For further information, please refer to: www.creativecommons.org.
Development of this project has been made possible by a generous grant from The Consortium for Language Teaching and Learning. The TEACH team wishes to express our gratitude to the Director and Governing Board of the Consortium for their support and encouragement.
