CALL (Computer-assisted Language Learning)

In CALL computer technology is used as an additional aid in language learning. Its goal is reinforcement not replacement of face-to-face instruction. Other names are: computer-assisted language instruction, computer-aided language instruction, and technology-enhanced language learning. There are two general categories of computer technology in CALL: software and internet-based technologies.
