Training language instructors in video production techniques

The following document describes the rationale for, as well as the contents of, a series of workshops that was offered by the French Department and the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Columbia University in the spring semesters of 2005 and 2006. The goal of these workshops was to teach language instructors some simple filming techniques in order to enable them to develop and implement video projects with their students for pedagogical purposes.
